Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to announce the District has earned an “A” rating for the 2025-2026 school year from the Florida Department of Education.
CCPS is the proven choice for education in Collier County. To ensure new students are ready to start on day one, we encourage families to complete the online enrollment process by July 15.
Quarter 4 report cards are now available on the FOCUS Portal.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the Principal of Poinciana Elementary School. My experience in Collier County spans over 25 years as a teacher, Reading Coach, Intervention Support Specialist and Administrator. My passion is to serve students while leading all stakeholders in a way that establishes a collaborative climate to enhance instructional strategies. My vision is for our students to become strategic thinkers, proficient readers and problem solvers so they will be able to SHINE in every life situation as lifelong learners. PES holds celebrations for our Positive Pelicans twice a year.

Every Friday, PES Pelicans’ positive behavior is celebrated with positive referrals, written by their teachers

Everglades Champion School
PES is enrolled in the Everglades Champion Schools program, sponsored by The Everglades Foundation. This program helps enrich the education of our students by teaching them about Florida-specific concepts.

Pelican Leaders
Our 5th grade students represent our, “Pelican Leaders.” These are students who help around campus during special events and morning arrival.
